You may use a computer, as long as it has a camera and a microphone, or a smartphone or tablet to conduct your Telehealth visit.

You may connect up to 20 minutes prior to your appointment time. You will be unable to connect 20 minutes after your scheduled time and your appointment will be cancelled:

On the Day OF Your Telehealth Visit
If you are using your computer and have MyChart, you will need to login to your MyChart account for the visit from your computer.
1. Navigate to an Internet browser.
2. Go to www.mychart.sansumclinic.org/MyChart/ and log in.

3. This is what your home page should look like: navigate to “VISITS” on the top bar and click.

5. THIRTY minutes before your visit, the BEGIN VIDEO VISIT button will appear.
6. Be sure that you are in a relatively private and quiet location. Indoors is strongly recommended.
7. When you click “BEGIN VIDEO VISIT,” Zoom will open. If you have pop up blockers active, you will need to turn them off for the Telehealth visit to work properly.

If you are using the smartphone app to conduct your Telehealth visit:
Depending on a variety of factors, it may take awhile for the provider to join the call. They are electronically notified that you are waiting. It may take up to a full minute to connect once your provider starts the Zoom call.
If you don’t have MyChart, you will receive a text message or email with a link to your visit:
Please note, before joining the call, remove bandages and dressings, sit in a well-lit area, and make sure you have a strong WiFi signal so the transmission works seamlessly.
